Located us in history. Spain in the 19th Century

We're in the 19th century . It just start the Independence's war in Spain because the citizens didn't want that a French person govern them, in addition Napoleon's brother.

You're asking, why napoleon's brother? Well,  in 1789 in France the civizens fought with the monarchy, The French Revolution it's means , civizens that weren´t agree with de ancient regime . Here , in Spain  governed Carlos IV he was scared because he thought that the spanish civizens proclamed him the war. So, he proclaimed the war to France but , it did not work. There was Godoy the first Spanish's Minister who had friendship with France. They were allies to be against with Great Britain and in 1807 Godoy allowed the passage of the French army for invade Portugal, and the civizens were angry. Why he permited that the French army came into Spain? And the civizens  fought with the Spanish's monarchy in a fight called " El motín de Aranjuez". They wanted that Godoy  were  expelled of his office and thath Carlos IV  leave the thronr to his son Fernando.
Napoleon ( who was in France) had an idea; If i tell them to come, I can steal their power , and if I put my brother in the throne France will be bigger.
