The day of our trip to Cádiz, we visited this museum. There the  guide explained us the caracteristics of this model made by hand on the 19th century:
This is a tridimensional model that shows exactly how it was the town of Cádiz in the las third of the 19th century.
Cádiz was a vey important town and the ships brought the richeness of the american colognes in the port of Cádiz. This caused that many tourists visited this city and that the population rose up, and that is why Spain is the objective of other countries.
Carlos III ordered to build  models of the most important cities of Spain and the only one that was finished is this one, to improve their defenses. It took two years to built it. This is the exact replic of Cádiz in this century.
As an anecdote, this model was made by craftsmen with oak tree and  silver thread, each building has every detail. When Carlos III, the king, had the cost of this model, decided not to make any other model becouse it was vey expensive.
